Summary In this contribution we discuss the application of generalized strain measures to finite inelasticity based on the multiplicative
decomposition of the total deformation gradient. The underlying symmetry properties of the material are modelled via the incorporation
of structural tensors while the evolution of any inelastic spin is neglected. Appropriate pushforward and pullback transformations
of particular generalized strain measures to different configurations enable the setup of anisotropic hyperelastic formats

Because of high efficiency, low environmental impacts and a potential role in transforming our energy system into a hydrogen economy, fuel cells are often considered as a key technology for a sustainable energy supply. However, the future framing conditions under which stationary fuel cells have to prove their technical and economic competitiveness are most likely characterised by a reduced demand for space heating, and a growing contribution of renewable energy sources to heat and electricity supply, which both directly limit the potential for combined heat and power generation, and thus also for fuel cells. Taking Germany as a case study, this paper explores the market potential of stationary fuel cells under the structural changes of the energy demand and supply system required to achieve a sustainable energy supply. Results indicate that among the scenarios analysed it is in particular a strategy oriented towards ambitious CO2-reduction targets, which due to its changes in the supply structure is in a position to mobilise a market potential that might be large enough for a successful fuel cell commercialisation. A monolithic integrated photoreceiver for 1.55-μm wavelength has been designed for operation in a 20-Gb/s synchronous digital hierarchy system (SDH/SONET), based on a new integration concept. The optoelectronic integrated circuit (OEIC) receiver combines a waveguide-integrated PIN-photodiode and a traveling wave amplifier in coplanar waveguide layout with four InAlAs/InGaAs/InP-HFETs (0.7-μm gate length). The receiver demonstrates a bandwidth of 27 GHz with a low frequency transimpedance of 40 dBΩ. This is, to our knowledge, the highest bandwidth ever reported for a monolithic integrated photoreceiver on InP. Furthermore, a receiver sensitivity of -12 dBm in the fiber (20 Gb/s, BER=10-9) and an overall optical input dynamic range of 27 dB is achieved. Several cognitive impairment/dementia diagnostic methods were examined concerning their results: (a) in the differentiation of accidental and pathological ability changes; (b) in the demonstration/exclusion of cognitive impairment; and (c) the degree of dementia. Sixty-five patients suffering from brain damage were examined with five accepted methods of diagnosing dementia (Syndrom-kurztest, KAI-MWT-Methode, Demenz-Test, Mini-Mental-Status-Test, Wurzer-Methode) and a comprehensive performance test battery as an external criterion for valid determination of the degree of dementia and definite differentiation of accidental and pathological performance changes. The five methods of diagnosing dementia differ appreciably in determining the degree of severity (r = 0.44). They are effective in registering accidental performance changes in comparison with the outer criterion, but pathological changes are inaccurately registered (hit rate 88%/53%); the results concerning the degree of cognitive impairment are identical: between 25 and 43% (r = 0.43). High rates (58%) of false-negative diagnoses are especially apparent in the range of slight and intermediate cognitive impairment. The methods examined are only useful for the demonstration and not for the exclusion of severe cognitive impairment (dementia) and in no circumstances for the registration of slight/intermediate cognitive impairment. Valid diagnosis of cognitive impairment/dementia necessitates the use of test batteries that differentiate functions including the premorbid performance level. 相似文献

A V-shaped roof system for spans between 15 and 30 m is presented.
